After 6 months away from the V4 fold, I have repented and returned. Yesterday I bought and trailered home (in 40 mph wind gusts and blowing snow) a 94 Magna.
Come warm weather I'll sell my 82 Gold Wing and wipe that chapter of my motorcycle history from my memory. Maybe I'll buy a Wing again when I'm 65.
Blizzard conditions on the return trip.
My beautiful red Magna on the trailer on the way home from Michigan in the snow.
Very nice. Happy for you. It appears to be in good shape.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
Awesome bike Ted!!!! Is that the one we were talking about at lunch?
ReplyDeleteIt looks to be in excellent shape. I can't wait until we can have a bike lunch together, especially since I'm going through bike withdrawal right now.
Congratulations!!!!
When I first read it I feared the worst...I thought you were nuts enough to try to ride it home :-)
ReplyDeleteMy sister was that foolish and rode hers Sunday about 3 miles to park it in my garage. She could barely move her frozen fingers from their curled position. What a goofball.
You will LOVE the VFR engine...I've loved the engine since I owned my first VFR and always seem to gravitate back to bikes that have it.
I too am anxiously awaiting riding weather....until then I will just have to ride the truck with the snow blade (not near as much fun)
Did you get to ride?
ReplyDeleteTell me all the details. I am really impressed with the bike you
picked this time.
(I am not saying the others were bad)
This one looks like a super
find. It also looks like it has a high "fun" factor.
