Am I still a fan of Goldwings, even though I didn't buy the last one I looked at? Yes. I'm not convinced that they are all as underpowered as that decrepit GL1100 was. I know my fully-dressed GL1100I was more powerful than that poor naked GL1100. So, yes, I'm still a fan. My Interstate was a great touring bike and, if I had money for more than one bike, that'd be my touring bike of choice. Not sure about the GL1800 as I haven't ridden one.
